school starts monday, but kindergarten is staggered. wes will start tuesday. this weekend we've been cleaning, organizing & resting.
yesterday, wes and i gave his bed a little makeover. he has the kura bed from ikea, which he loves. it was a christmas present from his neena & pawpaw (gary's parents).
we hung a shower rod on the side and i hung some old window valances, that i haven't used in years. i cut them off to fit the space. i also had some indoor/outdoor lights, so we weaved them through the wood rails underneath the bed. i think it will be a nice place to relax & read books after school!
